Science Olympiad participants will use the money to pay for travel expenses and material costs for invitational, regional and national competitions. The grant will allow coaches to be a more effective by providing resources necessary to compete with other schools across the country. Students will spend more time on Olympiad and less on fundraising – especially before nationals when there is only a three week window to raise ten or more thousand dollars.
