BHS SCIENCE OLYMPIAD: $10,000 need

Science Olympiad participants will use the money to pay for travel expenses and material costs for invitational, regional and national competitions. The grant will allow coaches to be a more effective by providing resources necessary to compete with other schools across the country. Students will spend more time on Olympiad and less on fundraising – especially before nationals when there is only a three week window to raise ten or more thousand dollars.

Tigirlily Live at Horizon Middle School!

On Sunday May 6th at 6:00 pm Tigerlily will perform at Horizon Middle School. All proceeds will benefit the Student’s in Transition Program. Concessions will be offered and doors open at 5:30pm.

BPS Athletes in Need

Athletics can be an important time in a student’s life, building social, emotional and physical skills they will carry with them. We never know who may benefit from your donation to Bismarck Public Schools Foundation – a few dollars can go a long way to help BPS students have a great future.

Save your Dan’s SuperMarket Receipts for Your BPS Organization

The BPS Foundation is proud to serve as a nonprofit pass-through for PTOs and Booster clubs interested in earning $1000 through the  “Direct Your Dollars” program. If you’d like to donate your receipts and don’t know of a participating BPS school or organization, please enclose your Dan’s receipts in an envelope clearly marked “Direct Your Dollars” and drop them off at the Career Academy.

Giving Hearts & Inclusive Sports

Thanks to everyone who donated toward matching a $10,000 endowed gift that was generously given by John G. Morrison and Beth Nodland dedicated to the Inclusive Sports program.

Bismarck Public Schools Foundation and Bismarck Public Schools is kicking off Inclusive Sports, which unites athletes with and without disabilities in athletic competition. The purpose of Inclusive Sports is to give all students the opportunity to be on a team and wear a school uniform whether they are disabled or not. Bismarck Public Schools would be the first to start Inclusive Sports in North Dakota with flag football at the high school level this fall followed by bowling, then track this spring.

Reserve a Fence Sign at the BPS Athletic Complex Baseball Field.

  • 6ft x 8ft for the full baseball season (March – August)
  • All care, repair and storage of sign is included
  • $1000 per year for 5 years
  • $3500 paid in full, good for 5 years

Meet the Board

The purpose of the BPSF Advisory Board is to to serve as directors for the Bismarck Public School Foundation re: the generation and use of BPS Foundation funds and gifts; to seek funds and other gifts to strengthen educational programs and services for Bismarck Public Schools and to develop by-laws, policies, and procedures which will encourage and enhance contributions to the BPS Foundation.
